At Studio Automated, we are redefining how the sports and media industry operates through AI-driven camera automation. We are a predominantly technical team of engineers and AI specialists. 

Based in Amsterdam with a view of the IJ-harbour, Studio Automated develops intelligent technology that automates cameras for sports productions and media environments in addition to event detection, player and ball tracking. Since 2020, our technology has been scaling rapidly across the globe. Many first leagues (handball / ice hockey) but also Champions League clubs use our tech.

In April 2026, Studio Automated was acquired by two major players in the market, marking the start of our next growth phase as a scale-up company. We’re in our scaling phase, which makes this the ideal moment to get on board. The most exciting work is still ahead.

The current tech team is about 10 people. We are now looking for ambitious AI Engineers to join our team.

Who are we looking for?

You do not need years of experience. In fact, recent graduates or students finishing their master’s degree in a related area (Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Computational Science) are highly encouraged to apply.

We have a strong AI team with experienced engineers and researchers who actively mentor and educate new talent. Over the years, many students have completed their AI thesis internships with us and continued their careers at Studio Automated after graduation.

We are looking for people who are excited to learn fast, take ownership, and build real-world AI systems that are used internationally. Hybrid working (office and from home) is an option.

Technical profile

You are passionate about AI and software engineering and have experience or strong interest in:

• Python
• PyTorch
• Computer Vision
• Deep Learning
• Machine Learning
• Data Processing & Training Pipelines
• Git / Version Control
• Linux environments

Bonus points if you have experience with:

• CUDA / GPU optimization
• OpenCV
• Real-time video processing
• Tracking & detection models
• MLOps or deployment pipelines
• Edge AI systems
