On Saturday, September 14th, Studio Automated hosted their third successful Showcase event with partners and invited guests. In a casual environment guest speakers Patrick Plaatje (Motto Streaming) and Mike Hughes (Redzone Analysis), alongside Studio Automated Sales Director Dave Greene, provided some brilliant insights on the use of AI in the sports broadcasting market. Additionally, Studio Automated presented footage of their new AI-automated PTZ controller solution and other product demos.

Starting with a sightseeing of our beloved Amsterdam, The group embarked from the IBC event venue and toured through the canals of Amsterdam’s historic city center. After the sightseeing and welcome drinks, the group docked at the Studio Automated home base.
At the office, the team greeted everyone with cocktails and freshly baked Italian pizzas. Paul Valk, founder and director, opened the evening with a warm welcome. This was followed by keynote presentations from: Patrick Plaatje from Motto Streaming, Mike Hughes from Redzone, and Dave Greene from Studio Automated.
Patrick and Mike shared their insights and expectations for the sports broadcasting and sports analysis markets, highlighting their collaborations with Studio Automated and the innovative solutions they are developing. Dave Greene concluded the presentations by reflecting on Studio Automated’s progress, showcasing current solutions, and unveiling the new AI-controlled PTZ camera, which captured high-quality footage of a football game played that afternoon.
